Grading and Site Preparation in Bentonville

Before a foundation, driveway, or building pad goes in, the ground has to be shaped, drained, and compacted to plan. Aquaaid-international handles the full sequence: clearing and grubbing, topsoil stripping, cut and fill, and rough to finish grading that sets pad elevations, drainage slopes, and a subgrade ready to build on. We run laser and GPS grade control so a slope stays true across a long run.

Why Careful Grading Matters

A pad that settles or a yard that drains toward the house is expensive to fix after the concrete is poured. Getting the grade and compaction right the first time near Walton Boulevard or out toward Centerton is what keeps the finished project stable and dry for years.

Our Process

We strip and stockpile topsoil, then balance cut and fill to the engineer’s plan. Structural fill goes in in controlled lifts and is compacted to 95 percent of maximum dry density, verified by a Proctor test. We establish positive drainage slopes as we grade, then respread topsoil over the finished surface for seeding.
